Community Engagement
Central State University Homecoming Fish Fry
The Dayton Black Rodeo Foundation was proud to be one of the sponsors of the Central State University Greater Dayton Alumni Chapter’s Annual Fish Fry, a fundraiser with all proceeds directly supporting scholarships and Central State University students. During the event, we also gave away four complimentary VIP tickets to the 2027 Dayton Black Rodeo. We are grateful for our continued partnership with Central State University and the opportunity to support student success while bringing our community together.

The Dayton Area HBCU Send-Off
The Dayton Black Rodeo Foundation had the amazing opportunity to participate in the Dayton Area HBCU Send Off. The annual celebration brings together local alumni chapters and community partners to provide scholarships, financial literacy workshops, and dorm essentials (like laptops, bedding, and refrigerators) to local high school graduates heading to Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
The Dayton Black Rodeo provided Kroger, Amazon, and Target gift cards, along with essential school supplies, stationery, and personal hygiene products, to graduating high school seniors preparing to attend HBCUs across the country.
